Resetting the Password of D-Link DP-301+ Parallel Port Print Server

If you do not remember the password or want to reset the password of the D-Link DP-301+ parallel port print server, the print server do not come with reset switch.Download the print server utility PS Admin from http://rapidshare.com/files/259427955/Dlink_Psadmin.rar.html

Unzip and run the setup to install.

Start PS Admin and it will search for the print servers on your network and display your print server.  If you have multiple D-Link print servers all the print servers will be displayed. Select the correct print server which you want to reset.

  1. Choose “Factory Reset” from the “Tools Menu”
  2. Select “TCP/IP Protocol” and set the ip address for the print server.
  3. Now you can acces the webinterface for further configuration, password change etc..
