Creating Alias / Shortcuts in Mac OS X
Alias in Mac OS X is the same as shortcuts in Windows. Procdure to create an alias for a File, Folder or Program is the same.
Creating Aliases is simple. Just do the following :
1. Open the File in Finder.
2. Highlight it by clicking on it once.
3. Now Ctrl + Click ( Right click if you are using a Microsoft 2/3 Button mouse) and select “Make Alias”.
4. You can now drag the Alias to the Desktop or any other folder you want.
